Babyface : In Love with Love, a Biography (Read 180 StageB)
Customer Review: This book is about a famous singer and his life.
Kenny was a good boy who sang in a band. When he was in eighth grade, his dad died of lung cancer. Kenny got Baby Face as a nickname. Kenny put all his feelings in a song. My favorite part of the book is when Kenny becomes a singer in a band. My text to self connection is that I want to be a singer in a band because I like to sing and I play the flute. It was neat to read about someone who did this. I recommend this book to any one who likes people, sings in a band orlikes biographies. read this book because it is a good book and because you never know what happens next. It is a true story| By samantha mckinney

VH1 Storytellers Classics
Other performers have little or nothing to say about the songs they perform (when asked, Rod Stewart shamefully can't recall who originally played mandolin on "Maggie May"), but virtually all of these performances are first-rate and fully deserving of their inclusion. Surprisingly--or perhaps not--Ringo Starr provides the highlight, recalling how his melancholy feeling of exclusion during the recording of the Beatles' White Album led him to take a holiday in Sardinia. It was there that he was inspired to write "Octopus's Garden," and his performance of that song--with his hand-picked band the All- Stars--is as purely delightful as the original recording. --Jeff Shannon
Customer Review: Decent collection
Nothing to write home about, but a nice set of performances from the Storytellers series, with a few good moments. For the price (and potential length) of a VHS tape, this could've been a lot longer (it's only about 40 minutes).

The Boondocks: The Complete First Season
Customer Review: One of the best!
Love The Boondocks!!! Aaron Mcgruder has a very unique way of presenting issues that deal with our generation, ways that will not sit right with everyone. The Boondocks is a hilarious satirical look at our country and our culture. Not for everyone (especially young kids), but very entertaining if you enjoy this certain type of humor.
Customer Review: Who Doesn't Laugh at this...
This is a GREAT show and an EVEN better cartoon. Not only does the show provide you with a show full of laughs but it is a little intellectual too. My only complaint is the price. WHY so much?!?!
